Frequently Asked Questions

What is the EUDR cut-off date?

The EU Deforestation Regulation uses December 31, 2020 as the cut-off date. Commodities must be proven to not have been sourced from land that was deforested after this date. LULC+ automatically checks for post-2020 forest loss.

What resolution is the satellite imagery?

LULC+ uses 10-meter resolution Sentinel-2 satellite imagery from the European Space Agency. This provides detailed land cover classification while maintaining global coverage and consistent data quality.

How long does the analysis take?

A single LULC+ report completes in approximately 30 seconds. This includes fetching satellite imagery, running land cover classification, checking deforestation indicators, and generating the full report.

Can I run bulk analyses?

Yes, you can upload a CSV file with multiple coordinates for batch processing. You can also use our API for programmatic access. Contact us for enterprise volume pricing on large-scale analyses.

What commodities does EUDR cover?

EUDR applies to cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya, and wood—plus derived products like leather, chocolate, furniture, and paper. If you import these commodities into the EU, you need to demonstrate deforestation-free sourcing.

Is an API available?

Yes, we offer a REST API for integrating LULC+ into your workflows. This allows you to programmatically run analyses and retrieve results for integration with your supply chain management systems.
